Otomen is being made into a live-action drama!
Guess what! Otomen's being made into a live action drama!! and omg yay Masaki Okuda would be playing Asuka Masamune :D I'm like, so happy right now ^^
It would start airing in August, and i can't wait! i LOVE the manga so much :D
Speaking of the manga, it isn't fully scanlated to Englsih yet, so a couple of us fans have kind of grouped together to scanlate it. And of course, i'd so love to help ^^ We haven't decided on anything yet, still hiring some people. I hope we'll be in time and get done before the series is done T_T I'm pretty sure those who'll find the live-action interesting and good will want to read the manga as well... :D jya, gambatte!

The Genetic Sodom Ilegenes Chapter 8
Previously:
Fon gets nightmares about his past and shares them to Jake. They take walk the following day where Fon’s alter ego (of some sorts) tells himself not to forget the hate he has for the Black Market people for killing his parents.
Summary:
People are saying that Fon has forgotten to submit his reports again (even though he really has). So Fon and his friends (of sorts) plan altogether to bring Andrew and his group down. Jake said that Andrew’s group has planned something for the upcoming day’s event. People (I’m guessing, family relatives) will be attending to watch the students play sports (of all sorts). Andrew’s group chose this one game where the participants have to grab the flower pins on the chest. (and they’re fighting while on horse-back…I don’t know what’s that called :X ) Jake’s sister has also attended the event, and she was screaming at how handsome Jake is during the marching exercises. Later, backstage (or something), Fon and his group meets up with Andrew and his group and they settle a deal. Whoever looses the horseback fighting game will have to dance naked at the night party.
Soon, the games have started (and Fon looks so gorgeous in his armor!). All of the sudden, the fireworks started to explode, that startled whole crowd (even Jake :X ) and then all of a sudden, a male student’s sexy pic that displayed at the large screen kept the crowd’s attention, even the higher-ranking officers (teachers? This is a military school after all…) paused for a while when they saw it xD. Jake also used some peacock tails to confuse Andrew’s horse (and all Andrew really planned to do was to cut the leather straps on the horse so Fon will fall). Unknown to Andrew, his horse had been given an aphrodisiac (something arousing sexual desire). But since Fon’s horse is a male, it can’t go after it and instead went after a horse from it’s own group. In the end, Fon’s group won.
At the night party, Fon and his group had a victory party. Andrew’s group were caught trying to sneak out though. Before they could have left, Fon’s group caught them and Fon said that he should think about the consequences first before engaging in such a deal. He was never really interested in seeing Andrew dance around naked anyways.

OMFG FON IS SO FREAKING GORGEOUS! I don’t even know how to begin, praising his gorgeous self. He looks so princely with his armor, especially when he claimed victory over Andrew and how he held his sword, so handsome!

OMG VIVI! Seriously, i want to stab that Moritz right now. Moritz is interested in being a demon king, and OMG he's the same rank as Vivi. Vivi's a duke :X And he ends up teaching their class too and Hana's being all lovey dovey at him..like how she used to with Vivi =___= ...and Rantarou too for grabbing Hana away from the table >.< I feel so sad for Vivi, especially when Hana woke up and went for Moritz =___= *pats Vivi* and Hana kicked her!! OMFG O__O I hope everything goes well... and what a cliffhanger!
I'm gonna post more pictures than usual too ^^ But, i didn't have time to clean them =___=

I strongly recommend this manga ^^ It's very interesting and the art is very beautiful. I have like, a crush on Fon xD He has peacock-colored eyes that i'm like..going gaga over xD

Summary:
Jake sits down with Fon as he tells him about his parents death. He said his parents disapprove of selling clones, mass producing humans that have died already, cross breeding of humans with animals, and creating a child according to the parents' preferences. Because of the trauma he has faces, Fon has to take medicines to calm him down. Jake says he'll listen on. He was adopted by the founder of Ilegenes and took care of him. Even though he was the one who created the island, he knows he doesn't intend to do the things his real parents were disagreeing on even if the people make fun of them.
The following day, Jake asks Fon if he wants to take a stroll outside and they meet a cat, which Fon was seen cuddling. While outside, Jake tells him that he shouldn't mind what other people say or thinks and depend more on other people but (like an alter ego of himself of some sorts that suddenly just disappeared) says that he should not forget the hate he has with the Black Market.
My Comments:
The chapter's pretty short (wth it is short) but it's really REALLY short! If you're like me who likes the JakexFon, you WILL spazz with this chapter ^^ I'm kind of weirded out with the Fon alter ego though...was it just in Fon's mind? O_O
